Riaperture Photofestival Ferrara

RIAPERTURE is back to reopen closed places of Ferrara once again, thanks to photography. A dusty, evolving festival that brings brand new images into abandoned, forgotten, and temporary places.

For two weeks, Ferrara will become the center of a new universe, the universe of RIAPERTURE’s tales. Behind the lenses of our cameras, we’ll discover new perspectives and we’ll enlight the shadows of new worlds.

The 3^rd edition: from the 29^th to the 31^st of March, from the 5^th to the 7^th of April 2019. Expositions, workshops, portfolio reviews, meetings and much more awaits for you! Are you ready to lose yourself and find your own steps on a forgotten, floating, unexpected way?

The theme of the third edition is ‘Future’. Our future sprouts into social investigations, running over the undeclared potential that photography brings out. We want to overcome limits, to freeze the moment, to become electric. New developments and opportunities to catch, with our eyes focused on the unaccomplished.

Just as the festival reopens closed spaces to show how they could be, the stories of  RIAPERTURE 2019 will be revelations, anticipations, moving snapshots, known road still to be explored. Everything is yet to come.
